How To Set Up Steam Authentication on Your Schedule 1 Server

Note:

Setting up Steam authentication on a Schedule 1 dedicated server validates player identities directly through Steam. This process requires a Steam Game Server Login Token (GSLT) to register the server with Steam networks and allow legitimate Steam accounts to connect securely.

1. Navigate to the Steam Account Manager

2. Log In to Your Steam Account

3. Enter the Schedule 1 App ID

Locate the ‘App ID’ field and enter 3164500.

4. Enter a Token Memo

Locate the ‘Memo’ field and enter a descriptive name, such as Cybrancee Schedule 1 Server.

5. Create the Login Token

Select ‘Create’ to generate the Steam Game Server Login Token.

6. Copy the Generated Token

7. Log In to Your Panel

8. Select the ‘File’ Tab

9. Select the ‘User Data’ Folder

10. Select the ‘server_config.toml‘ File

11. Configure Your Steam Login Token

Locate the steamGameServerToken line in server_config.toml and enter your generated token inside the quotation marks:

steamGameServerToken = "YOUR_GENERATED_STEAM_TOKEN_HERE"
