How To Add Gamemodes to Your Garry’s Mod Server Using Steam Workshop

1. Browse the Steam Workshop and Choose a Gamemode

As an example, I will be using the Prop Hunt gamemode.

2. Select the ‘Subscribe’ Button

This will automatically download the gamemode on your device.

3. Add the Gamemode to a Collection

Select the ‘Add to Collection’ button.

4. Select ‘here’ To Create a New Collection

5. Select ‘Share’

6. Copy the ID of Your Collection

7. Log In to Your Panel

8. Stop the Server

9. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

10. Paste the Copied Collection ID in the ‘WORKSHOP ID’ Field

11. Enter the Gamemode Name in the ‘GAMEMODE’ Field

For the gamemode ‘Prop Hunt’, the gamemode name used is prop_hunt. If you are downloading another gamemode, please check the gamemode description or the installation guide for that gamemode to see what name should be used in this field.

12. Start the Server
