How to Use Item and Tile Ban Lists in Terraria TShock

1. Log In to Your Panel

Ensure your server is powered on by clicking the green ‘Start’ button in the top header so you can execute live admin commands.

3. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

From the left navigation menu, select the ‘Console’ tab to open your server’s live command terminal.

4. Ban a Destructive Item

In the console command field, type itemban add Dynamite and press Enter to restrict players from holding or using dynamite.

5. View Active Item Bans

Type itemban list in the console command field and press Enter to review all currently restricted items on your server.

6. Remove an Item from the Ban List

To unban an item, enter itemban del Dynamite in the console command field and press Enter to restore player access.

7. Ban a Specific Tile

To prevent players from placing hazardous or griefing blocks, enter tileban add 141 in the console command field.

8. View the Active Tile Ban List

Enter tileban list in the console command field to verify your restricted tiles list and ensure your griefing protections are active.
