How to Install Magic Storage Mod on Your Terraria Server

Note: Magic Storage is the most popular utility mod for Terraria, consolidating all your storage chests and crafting stations into a unified, searchable network. To run Magic Storage on your multiplayer server, you must install the mod package into your server mods directory and enable it in your server configuration.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

Select the ‘Stop’ button in the server header to shut down the server before uploading new mod files.

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

Select the ‘Files’ tab from the left navigation menu to open your server root directory.

4. Open the ‘mods’ Folder

Locate the mods folder and select it to open your server’s mod directory.

5. Upload the Magic Storage Mod File

Select the ‘Upload’ button in the file manager header to upload your downloaded MagicStorage.tmod file to the server.

6. Verify the Uploaded ‘.tmod’ File

Confirm that MagicStorage.tmod is listed inside your mods directory with its file size displayed.

7. Open the ‘enabled.json’ File

Locate the enabled.json file inside your mods directory and select it to open the mod configuration editor.

8. Add Magic Storage to the Active Mod List

Inside the editor, configure your active mod list using one of the following setups based on your server needs:

Option 1: Load Magic Storage as a Standalone Utility Mod
Add MagicStorage inside the JSON array to load only the core storage network:

Option 2: Load Magic Storage with Major Content Mods
Add MagicStorage alongside other installed mods (such as Thorium or Calamity) separated by a comma:

"ThoriumMod"

9. Save the File Changes

Select the ‘Save Content’ button in the editor header to apply your updated mod configuration.

10. Start Your Server

Select the ‘Start’ button in the server header to boot up the server with Magic Storage active.
