How to Update Minecraft Plugins Without Losing Configuration Data

1. Log In to Your Panel

Navigate to the Cybrancee Panel and log in to your account.

2. Stop Your Server

Stop your server before we make any changes.

3. Select the ‘Backups’ Tab

Select the ‘Backups’ tab from the left sidebar.

4. Create a Backup

Create a backup of your server so you can safely roll back if things go wrong.

5. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

Select the ‘Files’ tab from the left sidebar.

6. Open the ‘plugins‘ Folder

Look for and open the ‘plugins‘ folder.

7. Delete the Old Plugin .jar File

Select the old plugin’s .jar file and select ‘Delete’. Be sure not to touch the plugin’s data folders and configuration files.

8. Select the ‘Plugins’ Tab

Select the ‘Plugins’ tab from the left sidebar.

9. Install the New Version

Find the plugin you want to update in the list. Then click the download icon and select the version you wish to update to. The default one selected is the newest.

10. Start Your Server

Select the ‘Start’ button to start your server.
