How To Enable or Disable Text Chat on Your Enshrouded Server

Note:

Any changes made to enshrouded_server.json require a complete server restart to take effect. Always stop the server process before modifying configuration files.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘File’ Tab

3. Select the ‘enshrouded_server.json‘ File

4. Configure the ‘enableTextChat’ Parameter

Locate the "enableTextChat" parameter on line 12:

"enableTextChat": false,

To enable in-game text messages, set the value to true.

To disable in-game text messages, set the value to false.

5. Save the Changes

6. Restart Your Server
