How to Update Oxide/Rust on Your Rust Server

1. Download the Latest Oxide Build

Download the latest Oxide release that matches your Rust server version from the Umod official website or from Github.


2. Log in to Your Cybrancee Panel


3. Stop Your Server

4. Connect via FTP/SFTP

Use an FTP client like FileZilla to connect to your server.

5. Upload the Oxide Files

  • Extract the downloaded Oxide.Rust.zip file on your computer.
  • Inside the extracted files, locate the RustDedicated_Data folder.
  • Upload the RustDedicated_Data folder to your Rust server root directory /home/container/

    Allow the files to overwrite when prompted.

6. Start Your Server

7. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

8. Verify the Installation

Open your server console and type:

oxide.version → shows the installed Oxide/uMod version.

oxide.plugins → lists all currently loaded plugins.

If both commands work, your Oxide update has been successfully applied.
