How to Change How Often Your Project Zomboid Server Saves

1. Open Project Zomboid


2. Log In to Your Server With Your Admin Account

If you don’t know how to be an admin on your server, you can view our Become an Admin on Your Project Zomboid Server article.


3. Select ‘Admin’

4. Select ‘See Server Options’

5. Enter save in the ‘Filters’ Text Box

5.1. Select the ‘SaveWorldEveryMinutes’ Rectangle

5.2. Select ‘Change’


5.3. Enter the Time Interval You Want for the World Progress To Be Saved

The time is based on real-life minutes. For example, you could set the world progress to save every 5 minutes (a value smaller than this could cause some lag depending on the number of players connected to your server).

Then, save changes.
