How To Edit Your Player Data

1. Open NBTExplorer

If you don’t know how to use NBTExplorer, you can view our How to Use NBTExplorer to Edit Minecraft World Data article.


2. Open the ‘Player’ Folder

You can find the folder in /saves/level.dat/Data/Player.

3. Modify Any Player Data You Want

Here, you can change aspects such as health levels, hunger levels, XP levels, enable or disable flight and immortality, modify the character’s position in the world, and many other options.

3.1. Changes the Player’s Health Levels

For example, to change the player’s health levels, double-click on the ‘Health’ option:

Then, you can enter 10 (which represents half of the health bar) or 2 (a single heart):

3.2. Changes the Player’s XP Levels

For example, to change the player’s XP levels, double-click on the ‘XpLevel’ option:

Then, you can enter the value you want for the experience levels:

3.3. Enable or disable Player Immortality

For example, to enable or disable player immortality, double-click on the ‘invulnerable’ option:

Then, enter the value 1 (enabled) or 0 (disabled):

4. Save the Changes Made
