How to Backup and Restore Your Rust Server

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Select the ‘Backups’ Tab

3. Create a Backup


3.1 Select the ‘Create Backup’ Button

3.2 Enter the Backup Name

Enter the backup name in the ‘Backup Name’ field.

3.3 Optional: Lock the Backup

You can optionally lock a backup after creating it to make sure it can’t be deleted by anyone else with access to the panel.

3.4 Select the ‘Start backup’ Button

3.5 Check Your Created Backups

Once a backup is made, you can view it under the ‘Backups’ tab. This section shows a list of all the backups you’ve generated.

4. Restore a Backup


4.1 Select the ‘Restore’ Option

Select the three-dot menu on the right side of the backup you want to restore.

Select the ‘Restore‘ option.

4.2 Select the ‘Restore’ Button

Select ‘Restore‘ to restore the backup.

Optionally, you can remove all current files before starting the restore.

4.3 Wait for the Restoration to Finish

The restoration duration varies based on the backup size, so allow some time for it to complete.

4.4 Start Your Server Once the Restoration Is Done

After the backup has been fully restored, you can safely start your server.
