How to Change Starting Skill Points on Your Project Zomboid Server (B41/B42)

Note:

In this article, we will explain how to add additional starting character skill points on your Project Zomboid server, which will allow players to choose more traits when creating their characters for the first time.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ tab

3. Locate the ‘Server’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/.cache/Server.

4. Select the ‘SandboxVars’ File

5. Enter the Points You Want in the ‘CharacterFreePoints’ Option

You can find the ‘CharacterFreePoints’ variable starting from line 375 within the file.

Then, save the changes:
