How To Change the Name, Description and Icon of Your Unturned Server

Note:

Changing your Unturned server’s name is done through the configuration files, while updating the server icon and descriptions is handled separately in the server settings. Both are part of customizing your server, but the steps are different, so be sure to follow the right method for each.

-> Changing the Server Name

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

3. Edit the ‘SERVER NAME’ Field With Your Server’s Name

4. Start Your Server

4. Locate the Config.json File

You can find the file in Servers/PterodactylUnturned/Config.json.

5. Edit the ‘Icon’, ‘Desc_Hint’ and ‘Desc_Full’ Fields and Save

"Icon": "", Updates the server’s icon.
"Desc_Hint": "", Adds a short description shown under the server name.
"Desc_Full": "", Provides the full server description displayed beneath the server map.
