How to Configure Autosaving in Minecraft

Important!

Your server must be running either Paper or Spigot, as the bukkit.yml file is only found on those server types.

To switch your loader, go to manage server and select the ‘Switch Loader’ tab on the left and select one of the above supported types.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘bukkit.yml’ File

4. Change the ‘autosave’ Value

In the ‘bukkit.yml’ file, find the ‘ticks-per’ section and then change the ‘autosave’ value to how often you would like the server to save. Note: 20 ticks happen every second. For example, if the server autosaved every 1000 ticks then it would autosave every 50 seconds.
