1. Open Project Zomboid

3.2. Select Your Computer’s Microphone in ‘Recording Device’

3.3. Set ‘VOIP Mode’ to Push-to-talk

4. Select ‘Key Bindings’

4.1. Select the Key You Want To Use When You Use the Microphone

This is the key you will need to press when talking to other players. Make sure to choose a key that you don’t use in the game.

5.1. Increase the ‘Microphone Boost’ Value to a High Level

You can customize this value to your preference.

5.2. Speak To Confirm That the Microphone Is Working

If the microphone is working correctly, you will see a yellow bar increasing, which represents the level of the incoming audio signal.

Then, save changes.
