How To Reinstall or Factory Reset Your Cybrancee Server

Back up your server before reinstalling. A Factory Reset removes all files and returns startup variables to their defaults. Choose it only when you want a completely clean server. The other reinstall options behave differently, as described below.

For CS2, keep a backup of server.cfg and the addons folder. For Insurgency: Sandstorm, back up the Saved folder. A reinstall can take longer for larger servers; wait until it finishes before making further changes.

Important!

Make sure your server is switched OFF before continuing with a complete Reinstall

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Settings’ Tab

3. Select ‘Reinstall Server’

4. Select the Drop-Down Menu

5. Select Your Desired Reinstall Option

Keep current files and reinstall server	Reinstalls the server software without touching your existing files. Perfect for fixing a broken install while keeping your world and config intact.
Delete current files and reinstall server	Wipes all current files and performs a clean reinstall. Useful when you want a completely fresh start, whilst keeping any settings configured on the startup page.
Factory Reset	Resets everything. All files and startup variables back to default. The nuclear option when you need a completely clean slate.

6. Select ‘Continue’

7. Select ‘Confirm reinstall’

Important!

This action is permanent and cannot be reversed. Proceed with caution.

8. Wait for This Reinstall to Finish

The reinstall can take anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes, depending on the size of your server; please wait for the action to be completed before proceeding with any more changes.
