How to Switch Palworld to Support Xbox/Gamepass

Note:

If your friends on Xbox or the Microsoft Store (Game Pass) version are unable to connect to your Palworld server, it is likely because the server is running in “Steam-only” mode. To allow players from different platforms to play together, you must enable the crossplay handshake. This allows the server to communicate with both the Steam and Microsoft Gaming networks simultaneously. Also refer to our article How To Enable Crossplay on Your Palworld Server.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Edit the PalWorldSettings.ini

Add ,AllowConnectPlatform=Steam,Xbox ,before the ‘)’

6. Start Your Server
