How To Enable Crossplay on Your Palworld Server

Note:

Crossplay for Palworld is still an evolving feature. While enabling these platforms in the settings file is the first step, console players (especially on Xbox) often cannot join via a direct IP address like Steam players can. They typically need to use the Invite Code generated in the in-game “Options” menu once the server is live, or find the server by name in the Community Server list.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Configure Crossplay Platforms

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Search for CrossplayPlatforms.

To allow other consoles to join, you need to add them to the list inside the parentheses, separated by commas.

• To enable all platforms: CrossplayPlatforms=(Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac)

Additionally, ensure that bUseAuth=True is set in your file, as console platforms require authentication to connect to dedicated servers.
