How to Allow Players to Mine Spawners with Silk Touch on Your Minecraft Server (SilkSpawners)

Note:

In Vanilla Minecraft, breaking a mob spawner destroys it completely, meaning players can never move it. The SilkSpawners plugin fixes this by allowing players to safely mine and collect spawners using a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch! This allows your community to pick up dungeon spawners, carry them home, and build massive, customised mob farms inside their own bases

1. Download the SilkSpawners Plugin

Note: Make sure to match your Server Version and Platform.

2. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files‘ Tab

4. Select the ‘Plugins‘ Folder

7. How to Mine a Spawner

Once the server is running, the feature is immediately active! Simply find a spawner (like a zombie spawner in a dungeon), equip a pickaxe that has the Silk Touch enchantment, and mine the block. Instead of breaking into XP orbs, the actual Spawner block will drop on the ground for you to pick up and place anywhere you want

8. How to Change a Spawner’s Mob Type

Players don’t have to be stuck with just Zombie or Skeleton spawners! If a player gets their hands on a spawn egg (either from the server shop or admin rewards), they can easily change the spawner type. Simply hold the specific spawn egg in your hand and Right-Click the spawner block. It will instantly convert to spawn that new mob

9. Essential SilkSpawners Commands

/ss give [player] [mob](Admin) Instantly gives a player a specific spawner (e.g., /ss give Notch pig)
/ss set [mob](Admin) Changes the spawner you are currently looking at to a different mob type
/ss reload(Admin) Reloads the plugin configuration files without restarting the server
