How To Configure Direct Connection on Your Windrose Server

Note:

You must have direct connection enabled for these settings to take effect. You can see more info here [How To Enable or Disable Direct Connection on Your Windrose Server].

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Open the ServerDescription.json File

Navigate to: home/container/R5/

Then open: ServerDescription.json

4. Make a Note of Your Connection Details

  • Server IP
  • Server Port

When connecting to your server, you will need both your ‘Server IP’ and ‘Server Port’ found on the dashboard page.

5. Update the Direct Connection Settings

Modify the following lines with your specific connection details:

"DirectConnectionServerAddress": "Your.Server.IP.Address"

"DirectConnectionServerPort": 7777

Note:
The port value must match the port assigned to your server in the Cybrancee panel.

6. Restart the Server
