How To Keep Your Inventory on Death in Conan Exiles

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘ConanSandbox’ Folder

4. Select the ‘Saved’ Folder

5. Select the ‘Config’ Folder

6. Select the ‘WindowsServer’ Folder

7. Select the ‘ServerSettings.ini‘ File

8. Change the Drop Equipment Variable

Scroll through the text file or use Ctrl + F to find the following line: DropEquipmentOnDeath=

To drop your inventory when you die (Vanilla Hardcore), ensure the line reads: DropEquipmentOnDeath=True

To keep your inventory when you die, ensure the line reads: DropEquipmentOnDeath=False

9. What If the Setting Is Missing?

If you search your file and cannot find DropEquipmentOnDeath, it simply means your server is running the default hidden values.

Scroll to the very bottom of the text file, hit Enter to create a new, empty line, and type the exact code below to manually apply the rule:

DropEquipmentOnDeath=False


10. Save the Changes
