How to Set the Number of Auto-Save Slots on Your V Rising Server via ServerHostSettings.json

1. Log in to Your Panel


2. Select Your VRising Server

You can do so by clicking the “Manage server” option, which will open the dashboard by default.

3. Stop Your Server

4. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

Scroll down the Sidebar until you find the Files Tab.

5. Locate the ‘save-data’ File

Proceed to open it.

6. Locate the ‘Settings’ File

Proceed to open it.

7. Locate the ‘ServerHostSettings.json’ File

Proceed to open it.

It should look like this:

8. Locate the ‘AutoSaveCount’ File

Locate the following line:

AutoSaveCount setting in ServerHostSettings.json

9. Replace the Value of the Highlighted Setting Accordingly

“10”: Keeps the 10 most recent automatic saves.
“DECREASED”

AutoSaveCount set to 10

OR

“50”: Keeps the 50 most recent automatic saves.
“DEFAULT”

AutoSaveCount set to 50

OR

“100”: Keeps the 100 most recent automatic saves.
“INCREASED”

AutoSaveCount set to 100

10. Save the Newly Made Changes

Use the highlighted button to do so.

11. Restart Your Server and Game
