How to Adjust Harvesting and Gathering Rate on Your ARK: Survival Evolved Server

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Stop Your Server


3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘GameUserSettings.ini‘ File

Navigate to:

/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer

5. Edit the ‘GameUserSettings.ini‘ File

6. Understanding the Configuration

Setting VariableFunctionHow to Use It
HarvestAmountMultiplierThe master multiplier for all gathered resources.Increase (e.g., 3.0, 5.0) to give players more resources per swing.
PlayerHarvestingDamageMultiplierHow much damage a player’s tool deals to a resource node.Keep at 1.0 unless you want players to break nodes faster.
DinoHarvestingDamageMultiplierHow much damage a dinosaur’s attack deals to a resource node.Keep at 1.0 unless you want dinos to break nodes faster.
HarvestHealthMultiplierThe total “health” of a resource node (how many hits it takes to destroy a rock/tree).Increase to make nodes last longer, allowing players to hit them more times.
ClampResourceHarvestDamagePrevents servers from rewarding more resources than the node’s remaining health allows.Set to False for high-rate servers to prevent resource capping.
