How To Enable Loot Respawn on Your Project Zomboid Server

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Select the ‘Files’ tab

3. Locate the ‘Server’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/.cache/Server.

4. Select the ‘SandboxVars’ File

5. Locate the ‘LootRespawn’ Section

You can find the LootRespawn section starting from line 290 within the file.

(1) Set the Respawn Prevention Hours to 0: It is recommended to set this option to 0 to avoid inconsistencies when loot respawns across the entire map.

(2) Enter the Hours in Which Loot Respawn Will Occur: The hours are represented in-game.

(3) Set the Maximum Number of Items That Can Respawn per Container.

(4) Disable the ‘ConstructionPreventsLootRespawn’ Option: It is recommended to disable this option, otherwise, any physical change that occurs inside a building/structure will prevent loot from respawning in it.

Then, save the changes:
