How To Change the Seed on Your Project Zomboid Server (B41/B42)

Important!

In this article, we will explain how to change the world seed on your Project Zomboid server.

It will be necessary for you to delete your server’s current world so that the server can create the new world based on the new seed you have set.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ tab

3. Locate the ‘Server’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/.cache/Server.

4. Select the ‘Server.ini’ File

5. Enter the Value of the New Seed

You can find the ‘Seed’ variable starting from line 413 within the file.

Then, save the changes:

6. Locate the ‘Multiplayer’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/.cache/Saves/Multiplayer.

7. Remove Your World Folder

8. Restart Your Server
