3. Log Into Your DNS Panel

4. Create a new ‘A Record’

This A record should point to your Rust server IP address.
Your server’s IP is everything before the colon : and the port is the number that comes after.

5. Create a new ‘SRV Record’

This record links your domain to your Rust server’s port. After entering all the values, select ‘APPLY’ and ‘OK’ button.

6. Select ‘Update’ Button to Push Your Changes

DNS changes can take up to an hour to propagate. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to connect to your Rust server using your new domain.

7. Optional: Use a Subdomain Instead of the Main Domain

You can create a subdomain (e.g., rust.mydomain.com) for your Rust server if you’d like to keep the main domain mydomain.com for your website.

Enter your subdomain in the ‘Domain Name’ field in Step 4. Then, in Step 5, enter subdomain.mydomain.com in the ‘Target Host’ field.
