How to Install ‘Feed The Beast’ on Your Minecraft Server

Important!

Your server must be running ‘NeoForge’, as ‘Feed The Beast’ is only compatible with that server type.

To switch your loader, go to Manage Server and select the ‘Switch Loader’ tab on the left, then choose one of the above supported types.

Note:

There are several ways to download Feed The Beast. You only need to use one of the methods below depending on what works best for you:

– Using the Cybrancee mod pack installer (easiest)
– Manually downloading from Curseforge and uploading (advanced)

-> Using the Cybrancee Modpack Installer

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Go to the ‘Modpacks’ Tab

First, go to the ‘Modpacks’ tab on the left sidebar and search for ‘FTB’. Then, choose the version you would like to install and select the install button.

3. Toggle ‘Delete Files’ and Select ‘Install Modpack’

Next, toggle the ‘delete files’ to delete the files in the files section and ensure there are no errors. It is recommended to make a backup of your server first. Now, select the ‘install modpack’ button. Then, your server should reinstall itself automatically.

4. Restart Your Server

Finally, select restart, and your server should grab all the necessary files. This can take some time, depending on your server’s specifications.

1. Go to the Curseforge Website

2. Search for ‘FTB’

In the search bar, search for ‘FTB’ and select the version you would like to download.

3. Scroll Down and Download the Latest Version

Scroll down the list of downloads and select the latest version. The download should automatically start and download a zip file.

5. Upload the Zip File to Your Server

In your server, go to the files tab and upload the zip file you downloaded. Then, unarchive it.

7. Configure the ‘Startup’ Tab

Not all Feed The Beast versions are always updated to the latest version available. Go to the ‘Startup’ tab and update the versions to match the one you downloaded. At the time of writing, the latest versions are ‘Minecraft 1.21.1’, ‘Java 21’, and ‘NeoForge 21.1.209’.

8. Start Your Server

Finally, select restart, and your server should grab all the necessary files. This can take some time, depending on your server’s specifications.
