How to Enable or Disable Sleep on Your Project Zomboid Server (B41/B42)

1. Open Project Zomboid


2. Select the ‘Files’ tab

3. Locate the ‘Server’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/.cache/Server.

4. Select the ‘Server.ini’ File

5. Locate the ‘Sleep’ Section

You can find the Sleep section starting from line 197 within the file.

(1) Set the ‘SleepAllowed’ option to ‘true’: This will allow players to sleep whether or not they are tired.

(2. OPTIONAL) Set the SleepNeededoption to ‘true’: This will make players be able to experience tiredness, allowing them to sleep only under these conditions.

Then, save the changes:
