How to Configure RCON on Your Minecraft Server

RCON (Remote Console) is a tool that allows server administrators to remotely execute commands on a Minecraft server. It provides a way to manage and control the server without needing direct access to the server’s console, making it useful for tasks like moderating players, changing game settings, or restarting the server from a distance.

Before setting up RCON for your Minecraft server, you will need to open an additional port. Follow these steps:

A. Adding Ports

1. Log Into Your Cybrancee Panel

2. Add a Port

 You will see the available ports on the ‘Ports’”‘ tab. Select the ‘Add Port’ button.

3. A New Port Has Been Created

B. Enabling RCON

1. Select the Properties Tab

2. Enable Settings

Locate the settings named ‘enable-rcon’ and ‘broadcast-rcon-to-ops’, and enable them.

3. Enter Your Rcon Port

Once RCON is enabled, scroll down to the ‘rcon-port’ field and enter the newly created port number.

4. Set Your Rcon Password

Now on the ‘Rcon-password’ field set a unique password which will be required when you use Rcon.

5. Select ‘Save’ and Restart Your Server
