How to See Your Ping in Rust

-> Using the In-Game Menu

1. Open the Game Menu

Press the Escape key to open the game menu.


2. Select the ‘Options’ Tab

3. Select the ‘User Interface’ Tab


4. Select ‘FPS Counter’

Change the option to ‘Advanced + Ping’

Your ping will now be visible in the bottom-left corner of your screen while playing.

-> Using the In-Game Console

1. Open the In-Game Console

Press F1 to open the in-game console.


2. Enter the Command

Type client.ping into the console and press Enter. 

The number displayed after this command is your current ping.

3. Optional Commands

Alternatively you can use these commands.

perf 0 Turn off all counters

perf 5 Display FPS, latency, RAM usage, garbage collection and ping

perf 6 Display FPS, latency, RAM usage, garbage collection, ping and tasks
