How To Disable the Sandstorm Effect on Your Conan Exiles Server

Note:

Sandstorms are a defining environmental hazard in the Exiled Lands, forcing players to seek shelter or craft specialized masks to survive the scouring winds. If you find them more annoying than immersive, or if they are causing performance drops on your server, you can turn them off completely.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ tab

3. Navigate to ‘ServerSettings.ini‘ File

File Path: home > container > ConanSandbox > SavedConfig > WindowsServer

4. Disable Sandstorms

Look for the line DisableSandstorm=False. Change the value immediately after the equals sign to True to turn them off.

Note: If this line does not exist, simply create a new line directly underneath the [ServerSettings] header and type it in exactly as DisableSandstorm=True.

5. Save the Changes

6. Restart Your Server
