How To Enable or Disable Voice Chat on Your Enshrouded Server

Note:

Any changes made to enshrouded_server.json require a clean server reboot to take effect. Always ensure the server process is fully stopped before editing JSON files to avoid file corruption.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘File’ Tab

3. Select the ‘enshrouded_server.json‘ File

4. Configure the Voice Chat Parameter

Locate the voice chat setting in enshrouded_server.json:

"enableVoiceChat": true

To enable in-game voice communications, set the value to true.
To disable in-game voice communications entirely, set the value to false.

5. Save the Changes
