How To Modify Resource Respawn Times on Your Conan Exiles Server

Note:

If your server has a high population, players might clear out iron, coal, and wood nodes faster than they can naturally return. By adjusting the resource respawn multiplier, you can force the map to replenish its resources much faster.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘ConanSandbox’ Folder

4. Select the ‘Saved’ Folder

5. Select the ‘Config’ Folder

6. Select the ‘WindowsServer’ Folder

7. Select the ‘ServerSettings.ini‘ File

8. Adjust the Respawn Speed

Look for the line ResourceRespawnSpeedMultiplier=1.0. Change the number to your desired speed multiplier based on the values above.

Note: If this line does not exist, simply create a new line directly underneath the [ServerSettings] header and type ResourceRespawnSpeedMultiplier= followed by your chosen number.

9. Understand the Multiplier Logic

Unlike crafting time multipliers, this setting acts as a speed multiplier. A HIGHER number makes resources respawn faster.

5.0: Multiplying the speed by five, causing cleared nodes to replenish incredibly rapidly.

1.0 (Default): Standard resource respawn speed.

2.0: Doubles the respawn speed (resources reappear twice as fast).
